Title: Apple iPhone 16 loses out to Samsung Galaxy A35 and Google Pixel 8a in DxOMark display analysis

With a starting price of $799, the Apple iPhone 16 costs more than many flagships, but the 60 Hz OLED display cannot even outperform the screens of certain mid-range smartphones. This is not only due to the low frame rate.

Guys, I love your reviews and articles. They're the best or among the best. But you really need to fix your approach to the PWM problem coverage.

"480 Hz is fast enough that most users should not experience any problems, but those who are sensitive to flickering displays are advised to look elsewhere for an alternative. " - frequency is secondary. What really matters is the pulse duration (off cycle) and the modulation depth (brightness dip). It can be 10Hz and not hurting anyone or 10000Hz that will destroy many brains.

Iphone screens, despite a good PWM reputation, are among the worst. Reasons why Apple, Samsung and Google don't do anything in regards of PWM are truly nasty. Someone has to start talking about this
