The Dasung Paperlike Color Revolutionary is now globally available. As an E Ink monitor with a high refresh rate, it is intended to ameliorate a major weakness of the technology.https://www.notebookcheck.net/Paperlike-Color-Revolutionary-Large-color-E-Ink-screen-offers-high-refresh-rate-and-is-thus-a-real-monitor.902134.0.html
Is this true 3200x1800, or only one primary (R, G, or B) per pixel? If memory serves me right, the last desktop color e-ink panel we saw was the latter, making it effectively 1600x900 RGGB (or RGGB/BRRG/GBBR if the greens weren't twice as common). There is then also, of course, the inanity of the choice of 16:9 when the mold is already being broken by the novelty of the technology.
Still neat from a technical achievement point of view.
