Huawei's Mate 70 series, powered by the new price-hiked Kirin 9100 chip, is tipped to rival Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. While the Kirin lacks the power efficiency of Gen 3, insiders suggest it will offer a better overall experience than Gen 2.

Wow, Amazing achievement in just few years after the sanctions for Huawei!

I am still using the Huawei P30 pro, with Kirin 980 (7 nm) which is made by TSMC, and the new Kirin 9100 is expected to have more than double performance than mine while been manufactured purely locally!

Well done Huawei, despite the unfair sanctions. I will keep supporting you!
