EA's soccer series is notorious for making minimal changes from one year to the next. Even with the most recent version, you often need a magnifying glass to spot the improvements. Check out our benchmark test to see what hardware you'll need to run the game.

I am only interested in career mode with minimal gameplay

Do the following laptops work?

HP Envy x360 14" 2in1 Laptop, AMD Ryzen 5-8640HS Processor, AI Enhanced, 16 GB RAM, 512 GB SSD

ASUS Zenbook 14 OLED UM3402YA 14.0" 3K 90Hz OLED Screen (AMD Ryzen 7-7730U, 16GB RAM, 512GB PCIe SSD

In my opinion yes, both the HP Envy x360 14" with AMD Ryzen 5-8640HS and the ASUS Zenbook 14 OLED with AMD Ryzen 7-7730U can play EA Sports FC 25 well, especially if you focus on the career mode with minimal gameplay that makes it more suitable in terms of usage and features.
