I have the Mi Band 8 and the new version of the App (Android).
Works fine.
Got the update but still no luck with pairing s400 scale.

Yeah, definitely a mess having to deal with separate health apps when they're both products from the same company.

Reports on Reddit suggest that the new software has reached some iOS and Android users, having launched in China earlier this year. As well as a clearer design, the latest version of the app brings a couple of new features.

After the Mi Fitness update, the app looks better, but its performance is inconsistent. It crashed several times when I tried to view the data for the week. I also noticed that connecting to the watch sometimes takes longer than before. The design has become simpler, but the functionality has suffered a bit. I found it interesting to see how other companies create similar apps, and ddi-dev.com (https://ddi-dev.com/blog/case/how-weve-created-a-fitness-app/) clarified a lot for me. They tell me how they take into account the user's needs before launching. I think Xiaomi should pay attention to such approaches. This will help avoid mistakes in future updates.
