Phones are at the point where they need better cooling solutions and battery life, not more powerful CPUs.

They need to draw less power. Period. 4 years ago a flagship would consume 7-9 W when benchmarketing. Now 17.4 W peak. SD8 G2 was 13.7 W peak.
