I really don't want to down load it all over again.
The game doesn't require a full redownload. The file will be larger to download and the system of yours will do the rest.

"On Tuesday, September 3 at 10 AM ET/9 AM CT, @Fallout 76 will be going offline to apply the Milepost Zero update!
This update will require a full redownload of the entire game due to a repackaging effort which will make the overall game size smaller."
That's straight off of Bethesda Support on Twitter/X. I would just be prepared for the entire download.
I have it on ps5 will I have to redown load it
QuoteTo get the new update, players will have to uninstall Fallout 76 from their PC and reinstall it again.
False and contradicted by the previous paragraph.
You do not need to uninstall and reinstall. The patch will replace most or all of the existing game files. This means you're basically redownloading the game when you patch it, not that you have to uninstall and reinstall.
SO that means that i need start again my game?
I cannot believe that a Bethesda software development manager had maintenance events at 12:00 AM Central time on September 1st and 2nd. That was bad enough but to require a complete download of Fallout 76 at 10:00 AM on September 3rd is totally stupid. I was a VP of Software Development and anytime software needed to be updated, we always did it at 3:00 AM in the morning.
I would recommend that the VP of Bethesda's software development not allow this to happen again. Please schedule all software updates in the middle of the morning, at 3:00 AM, instead of during the day.
Thanks!
