More details about Samsung's long-rumoured limited-run foldable smartphone have emerged through a reliable leaker. Allegedly arriving this September, the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition could achieve a new thinner glass type to achieve a less visible display crease but possibly at the expense of S Pen support.

If it doesn't support s-pen or wireless charging (also rumored) or is in any other way a step down from the standard 6, this phone will be an absolutely flop. Especially since it didn't release alongside the standard 6 and Samsung has therefore already cannibalized the sales numbers of this phone. Luckily the z fold 4 v3.0 oops sorry the z fold 6, was a flop of a phone, so it didn't cannibalize the sales numbers too much.
