8BitDo has released new versions of its Pro 2 wireless controllers. Available at a discounted price seemingly until next week, the refreshed 8BitDo Pro 2 controllers support practically every OS going, have decent battery life and sport hall effect joysticks.

Transparent or semitransparent game controllers are silly and unergonomic. Why not to focus on better quality materials and better grip? Sony's devices may look dull, but they are really good but unfortunately rather expensive. I do have previous 8BitDo controller and it is OK. Not perfect but accurate and does the job.

Transparent purple is now available for pre-order with the hall effect as well. 😁
