The Nvidia Shield TV Pro featuring the Tegra X1+, identical to the SoC found in Nintendo Switch, is on sale. This Android TV streaming device can now be bought for $169.99 from Amazon, which is a decent $30 discount and also the all-time low price for the unit.

Not on sale from Amazon if you are in the US unfortunately.

I check (US) Amazon and the NON-PRO version has identical functionality for <$50 then the 'pro' version.

Still a fairly expensive non-Amazon, non-Google centric streaming device.

(actually NVIDIA centric)

The Pro is significantly better than the Regular Shield. I wouldn't buy it. Pro, or Fire Cube.
