Bethesda has announced the release of the DOOM Anthology on October 22, 2024, featuring six games from the iconic franchise. The collection will be launched for multiple platforms, and includes a SteelBook case and a 5-inch LED-lit BFG gun replica. I would have expected an "Anthology" when no further Doom game is created. But that isn't the case. "Doom: Dark Ages" is yet to come.
Thus it becomes clear that this anthology is not only incomplete, but also just a quick cash grab. After the release of "Dark Ages" you can expect "the real full anthology" edition for yet another quick cash grab... and if the make another Doom game afterwards expect the "the ultimate anthology" edition.
