Google continues to take steps to deliver a desktop mode for its Pixel devices. Not only has the company added even more features in its recent Android 15 beta updates, but it has even enabled the functionality to run locally on a Pixel Tablet, just like Samsung DeX can on many Galaxy Tab tablets.

Will use it instead for sure, because Dex is locked with Samsung keyboard and it suck..

Android had desktop mode since maybe Android 10, you can enable it in Developer options. The rest is just your bet if phone manufacturer added support for USB-C display out other than screen mirroring..

Wish it were fully tiled like i3. Overlapping windows always result in a mess.

this is taking way too long... might get the new galaxy fold instead, again...
