After ordering 100,000 Teslas, depreciation and upkeep made Hertz give up on the rapid electrification of its rental fleet. It will now continue offering its Tesla vehicles at a discount to offload them quickly at a steep loss.https://www.notebookcheck.net/Uber-orders-100-000-BYD-electric-cars-as-Hertz-is-selling-Teslas-on-the-cheap.870881.0.html
In no universe BYD is going to service 100000 cars.
No electrical infrastructure is being added where I live. I don't know how the grid will support all these new EVs.
There was a '23 Tesla for 24000 I was eyeing in Texas. That's before tax credit! That's like 50% less than they paid for it...

Biden's got your back, yo. He'll just give Musk $20 billion for a big battery!
Hertz uses cars for rent, and as data showed people were abusing the cars. Uber driving is for making money as a taxi service. Many taxi services have long been successful with Teslas and other EVs

I somehow doubt that as infrastructure is being added pretty much everywhere, even if the approvals take forever

Like Germany what? Germany is adding electric infrastructure. Or you mean takes forever to get approvals?
