it runs Windows genius, so no not a smartphone in a laptop case.
A 10-11" Windows tablet powered by a low end Snapdragon processor paired with 12-16GB of RAM with 256GB (atleast) storage would be wonderful. Slap in a magnetically attached keyboard and it would be the perfect on-the-go machine.

"$700" !?!?!? Are they kidding?
Given that the 'Chrome' devices can be readily found at $200-500 and 'bottom of the line' Intel/AMD powered WIN devices $400-1000 I'm not quite sure that their TARGET pricing is going to get them much (if any!) market share.
However if they were to drop to SUB-$500 and fit the $200-400 range, a 'gimped' (lack of compatibility) WIN system might make HUGE inroads in the low end of the market.
Bring to market a 8-12" tablet with a magnetic keyboard in the sub-$500 price point and they might have a popular product.

$700 to have an Advertising Operating System that has compatibility issues with Games, Software, Drivers, Antivirus/security legacy (and some modern) hardware. But it benches fairly well for what's left!
