Google is set to host its next Pixel launch event in under two weeks. While the company has teased a few details about the Pixel 9 series so far, a generally reliable source has beaten it to revealing that the Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL will all start with 128 GB of storage, unlike the Pixel 9 Pro Fold.https://www.notebookcheck.net/Google-Pixel-9-Pixel-9-Pro-and-Pixel-9-Pro-XL-all-to-start-with-measly-128-GB-storage.870137.0.html
ROTFLMAO!!!!
Are you people SERIOUS? My ENTIRE CD collection of a few 100 disks takes up < 30GB on my cell phone.
So what on earth am I going to do with that 92GB of extra space!?!?!?
You people are to funny!!
I use 30 of 128G on my Pixel 7 Pro. Very rarely will that jump up to 35-40G on downloading various files/take a video, before they are uploaded to cloud.
128G is perfect for my uses.
Oh look a few people say they don't need any more memory, so of course that's means none of us need more at all.
My music library is 60GB, plus I shoot 4K60p video, plus I shoot RAW, plus the OS is using 30GB, so 256GB would be the bare minimum "I" would need. So therefore, everyone needs it according to these commenters, right!

You miss the point of the headline
"start with measly 128 GB storage" makes it sound like the size is UNUSABLE for EVERYONE.
Keep in mind the key words "start with" which obviously means that larger storage options will be available for those that need/require it.
The Authors on this site have rather COMICAL choices of 'headlines'. :)
Nand flash is so cheap it is indeed pitiful. Apple gets rightly slammed for such penny pinching. You fail to remember they took away our SD memory card slot, so higher memory is a must in lieu of this. They could offer you 128GB more memory for $20 max, but instead choose to rip us off.

No, we're just responding...to the article?
Obviously Google and other OEMs has the data to determine what to release at.
And yes, pennies count.
