2500 hours on a laser projector?
"a laser lamp rated for 2,500 hours of operation"
I hope that wasn't a typo. The average LED laptop screen has a backlight lifespan of at least 15,000 hours...

It's actually 25,000 hours and not 2,500. Apologies for the error.
I think there was a misreading of the announcement. There isn't a new, limited version of the projector coming out. The projector that is already being sold has been given a certification that includes the word "limited". It's xbox marketing speak. So no one should be waiting for a new release here.
