EV charging infrastructure investment is expected to hit more than $12 billion by 2030 and the number of chargers may rival that of gas stations in America.

Why would you compare charging stall number to gas station number? This is an Apples to Oranges comparison.

It is helpful for owners of gas vehicles to make a somewhat informed decision that they can possibly buy into the EV movement and be reasonably assured they won't be stranded in the Mohave desert.

I think the bigger question is why the subsidization of everything EV?  If it's a clearly better technology and deal for consumers, it should sell itself.  We're paying regardless (and interest on top of it,) but it's curious how the PR is pushed that "this is better for the environment."

OK.  I believe you.  The fact that you keep telling us it's better for the environment is all the evidence I need.  Because I believe everything I am told.

There aren't any new ones within 50 miles of where I live.    Seems like a poorly researched article with little data and lots of generalizations.
