Post by: Redaktion on July 15, 2024, 00:49:01
Seasonic's official PSU wattage calculator page was updated with Nvidia's upcoming GeForce RTX 50 series GPUs and their respective wattage. The all new 50-series cards will consume fairly more power than their predecessors. An October launch is expected, with the RTX 5080 and 5090 being the first ones to be unveiled.

Mobile RTX 5090 is probably going to capped around 175W (maybe they might push it to 200W on bigger laptops). Interesting to see how well the mobile RTX 5090 will perform compared to the desktop RTX 4090. If it matches or betters the performance of the desktop RTX 4090, that is just insane efficiency.
