Unihertz is launching a new smartphone onto the market, the Jelly Max. Although quite compact, the smartphone aims to impress with decent features, reasonable battery life and fast charging.https://www.notebookcheck.net/Unihertz-Jelly-Max-Compact-smartphone-comes-with-cutting-edge-SoC-and-a-decent-battery-a-new-keyboard-model-is-being-planned.857520.0.html
I feel like every article about Unihertz phones should include a disclaimer that they basically don't do software updates at all. The Jelly Star might have been a good fit for one of my kids who wants something tiny, something to fit in a pocket. But everybody on Reddit says they just launch one device then move the whole team over to work on the next one, you don't even get security updates. Can't make a daily driver out of that...
Kind of excited for this phone. Tried the previous jelly, it was a tad too small and lacked 5G. The Max might be a winner
They also don't honor their warranty.
