According to the latest Sony ZV-E10 II leak, Sony will release the upcoming APS-C camera on July 10 after previous leaks suggested a May release. It will supposedly launch alongside a new kit lens to go with it. Sony will allegedly also announce a more premium 85 mm portrait lens shortly after the new compact camera. https://www.notebookcheck.net/Sony-ZV-E10-II-26-MP-APS-C-compact-vlogger-camera-gets-new-release-date-in-latest-leak.854002.0.html
Sony can't make 85mm f/1.2 lens due to smaller E mount.
Canon and Nikon already have 85mm f/1.2 lenses of which Nikon has the best super fast prime lens lineup.
and that's of course nonsense, the more narrow mount simply makes it nescessary to calculate more precisely, canon had a 85mm f1.2 lens for their fd-mount fe...
the reason for making a 85 1.2 lens is however no other than prestige.
Idk why Panasonic cant make a GX/GM device like this anymore... I much prefer the panasonic devices for the superior IBIS

And yet Viltrox is releasing an 85 f/1.2 for E mount soon and Sony of course already has 50 f/1.2 GM. Swing and huge miss.
