The latest Windows 11 preview builds now include Game Pass ads in the Settings app, affecting everyone signed into their Microsoft account. This move is another indication of Microsoft's firm intentions to integrate more ads into Windows 11, sparking controversy and concerns about future intrusive advertising. Since this is a trial run, it is not known for certain if this new feature will ever be rolled out to regular users.https://www.notebookcheck.net/Game-Pass-advertising-comes-to-the-Windows-Settings-app-for-more-user-unfriendliness.853761.0.html
Not to keen on this.
Ads in free software are fine but windows is about 150 euros retail so further monetizing is not cool.
Make windows 12 and sell that or make a free version of windows with ads is you want to show ads.
