Released yesterday, the latest graphics driver for Intel Arc and Iris Xe comes with day-zero visual enhancements and performance optimizations for Destiny 2: The Final Shape and Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree. Older titles such as Chivalry 2, Crysis, and Crysis 2 receive performance improvements of up to 16%.https://www.notebookcheck.net/Intel-Arc-Iris-Xe-31-0-101-5590-driver-arrives-with-full-Destiny-2-The-Final-Shape-and-Elden-Ring-Shadow-of-the-Erdtree-support.848467.0.html
I really would like to know if the Arc-4-Xe-cores iGPU - which officially is called only "Intel Graphics" - profits from the same graphics drivers, or if the profits only apply to the official Arc-7-Xe-cores and Arc-8-Xe-cores iGPU. Unfortunately there hasn't been anyone testing that...
It's the same generation (the same product family if you like). Of course lower-end parts get the same driver improvements as higher-end ones.
Either way I bet Intel will never be as good as Nvidia at gaming. It needs to start sponsoring big releases asap
