Microsoft is asking for at least $1,499.99 if you want a new Surface Pro with an OLED display. However, Amazon is already providing a cheaper alternative that only changes the M.2 2230 SSD that comes pre-installed.

Assuming the Best Buy listings are accurate, the Surface Pro X Elite is the X1E-78-100 SKU.

Hi! I was wondering what were the differences that we could experience as consumers if we bought the Amazon version? Does it change something in the hardware or is the price difference just due to a deal between Microsoft and Amazon?
