The dispute over the expansion of the controversial Tesla Gigafactory Berlin is coming to a head. After an attempt by around 800 climate activists to storm the building, nature conservation organisation Nabu is now taking legal action against the expansion of the Tesla factory.

Not a forest, it's a plantation. Monoculture trees, planted for the express purpose of harvesting for cardboard manufacture. Tesla bent over backwards and purified waste water for reuse so much that they got cited for their sewage being too concentrated as they were not adding waste water from the plant to the septic waste from employee plumbing systems. The protestors are brought in from all over Germany, they are not local environmentalists for the most part.

German manufacturers are surely not happy about Tesla invading their turf... Sad to see them using these dirty tricks.
