Title: Sodium-ion battery by ex-Tesla engineer can hit 300-mile range parity with LFP cells for cheaper EVs
Post by: Redaktion on May 17, 2024, 19:22:57
Electric cars with sodium-ion batteries can hit the proverbial 300 miles of range at a cost lower than the current cheapest iron phosphate batteries that are in the Model Y and Model 3.

It's hard to believe with LFP cells falling below 60 dollars, small companies will not be able to cope with these prices.

Unless a battery technology is in mass production it's never newsworthy. Because there's so many battery announcements that never come to anything because they're never productionised.

Do you live under a rock? Because there are plenty of new battery technologies that have come into fruition and are currently being used in new cars.

Compare EV battery characteristics and prices from 10 years ago and now. Night and day.

I mean, get in there to sponsor your HOA-ok flatbed runaround along with bikes with and without 140 lb. panniers at bedrock.info and [email protected] , you wouldn't want to -not- be there making your city's bike lanes canny.
