Philips has now released the Evnia 49M2C8900L, a new QD-OLED gaming monitor that serves as a cheaper alternative to the Evnia 49M2C8900. The Philips Evnia 49M2C8900L combines a quad 7.5 W speaker set-up with USB-C Power Delivery and a 144 Hz panel that delivers up to 1,000 nits peak brightness.https://www.notebookcheck.net/Philips-releases-new-huge-QD-OLED-gaming-monitor-with-144-Hz-refresh-rate-1-000-nits-brightness-and-90-W-USB-C-Power-Delivery.838429.0.html
There is another hidden downgrade on this model:
Maximum resolution: 5120 x 1440 @ 144 Hz (DP)
5120 x 1440 @ 60 Hz (HDMI)
That means the HDMI ports are not able to push the full 144Hz or even 120Hz. In other markets those ports are marketed as HDMI 2.0 instead of 2.1

Sounds like they are using their own definition of "HDMI 2.1".
