In the announcement of its latest tracker, Tile practically describes Apple AirTags as useless because they are almost impossible to track down in the event of theft, a lost dog, or simply a lost tracker in remote areas. The former market leader is now tackling this problem with satellites.

Hubble is an optical telescope with a replacement due shortly, Bluetooth has a 100m range none of this seems to tie together at all, 96 satellites to track a device that sells for $40 with no subscription would make zero sense unless this is April the first.
