WhatsApp is getting a major redesign with simplified navigation, new icons and deeper integration of "Meta AI". The dark mode is darker than ever before, while the color palette of the popular messenger app has been revised.

If they outed a public API, it would be fresh. Redesigning a closed client is boring.
Also: no whatsup if you're not on Android/iOS.
