Apple has received substantial backlash from artists over its latest iPad promotional video showing the destruction of traditional art supplies and instruments, with some calling the ad "tone-deaf," especially in light of the current climate surrounding tech and generative AI. In response, Apple has issued a rare apology ahead of the expected launch of its own generative AI at June's WWDC 2024 event.

With stories like this I always wonder how many people this ad goes through before it finally gets sent out. Embarrassing really.
