It is now clear what Sony's next flagship smartphone will look like. Rumoured to be launching later this month with the Xperia 10 VI, the Xperia 1 VI will be available in three colour options with various changes from the current Xperia 1 V, including an upgraded telephoto camera and a 19.5:9 display.https://www.notebookcheck.net/Sony-Xperia-1-VI-New-leaks-reveal-camera-upgrades-and-ditching-of-iconic-21-9-display-for-smaller-Xperia-1-V-successor.833716.0.html
Sighs.
Nintendo is about to release a portable device next year, which is capable of Gigabit transfers on expansion slot for only $400 but we're supposed to be grateful that Sony is still releasing phones with microSD readers capable of Mb transfer rates for $1200+?
Just go back to sleep, Sony mobile division.

People can be this stupid, huh? Try to ask Nintendo to put 5G network support, triple camera hardware with ZEISS optics, and flagship Snapdragon chipset without making it cost more than $1000. 🙃🙃
Also, Xperia isn't "overpriced" as what most people, including you, think. In my country (Malaysia), it's actually cheaper than the Galaxy and the iPhone.
@SMH there are multiple new storage system types, it's just there's a problem with it, they are usually more expensive, and then their adaptability, ie devices that can read them are limited.
SD cards are universal, yes it's one of the most unreliable media to store storage on, with its only strength being not susceptible to being damaged by water.
It's also cheap to put more storage on, and basically, disposable.
