Title: Exynos 2400, 2200, 2100 die shots highlight the chips’ evolution over the years

A X user has revealed how three generations of Exynos SoCs look like via detailed die shots. The Exynos 2100, Exynos 2200 and Exynos 2400 are radically different, indicating Samsung was constantly trying new designs to see what works best.

The exynos 2400 is only 137mm². It's impressive how small the area dedicated to the RDNA3 GPU is, it must have very little cache.

With the much smaller MBCFET 3GAP node and the collaboration of AMD and its RDNA 4, it is very possible that Samsung will finally surpass Qualcomm in its future Samsung Galaxy since there will be a change in processors, sensors, lenses, battery and even in memory to focus on Artificial Intelligence.
