The Shenxing Plus battery adds 372 miles in 10 minutes of charging and is built with affordable LFP cell chemistry. CATL also budged on solid-state batteries and will start their mass production.

Are the upgraded battery packs compatible with existing CATL platforms on the road?

It's a great breakthrough, but buying the product still sends money to the CCP to help build another aircraft carrier.

The last time I checked, battery packs are measured in capacity, not miles. Cars have a mileage/range rating. What's important is the capacity and weight of the battery, and then the efficiency of the vehicle it is installed into.
