Three Huawei Pura 70 series SKUs have been announced with a new Kirin 9010 SoC. It is essentially an underclocked Kirin 9000s with virtually no visible tweaks. What is the power consumption?
That's a good generational gain in multi-core performance, but the single-core not so much.
All in all, I hope these sanctions creates a better competition and alternatives from China considering the duopoly... of pretty much any cutting edge computing.
I'm tired of $2k+ nVidia... if SMIC can catch up then surely there'll be viable alternatives in the future.
