AnTuTu has revealed the top 10 flagship and midrange phone lists for March 2024. While MediaTek was dominating with its Dimensity 9300 in flagship and Dimensity 8300 ultra in mid-range charts, Qualcomm took back the lead in both charts. Now, phones with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 are topping the lists.https://www.notebookcheck.net/Snapdragon-8-Gen-3-finally-beats-Dimensity-9300-in-latest-AnTuTu-performance-list-Snapdragon-7-Gen-3-leads-in-mid-range-chart.821320.0.html
The story numbers are 10X greater than the actual results. Is this an April Fool's wish?

Thank you for pointing this out. Corrected.
Is this an overclocked mobile to achieve these catching up to beat results? 🤗
It was impressive enough for dimensity to beat Snapdragon, the main benefit and important info is though how long it sustains at full speed end especially how HOT temperatures get, where SD seems to have the main advantage.

Hey Markus,
Note that these are average benchmark scores. AnTuTu takes the scores after 1,000 valid runs in the month. So, it's possible that there could be some OCed ROG Phone 8 Pro scores in the runs, but it's unlikely that all are from the same device.
Now check the power use. It's going to be clear Mediatek was never real competition. Closed bootloader, gpl violations, Mediatek isn't a good option any way you look. It's cheaper, that's it.
