Anbernic has now released the RG35XX 2024, an updated RG35XX that relies on the same Allwinner H700 chipset as the RG35XX Plus. The specs on Anbernic's website say "Support 2.4G wireless and wired controller, HDMI output TV, vibration motor" so it should work with Bluetooth controllers. No mention of WiFi though.
