The Apple Watch has evaded Android compatibility for nearly a decade now. Apple claims this was due to technical limitations, but an internal company email from 2019 suggests it was to protect Apple's iPhone sales and the ecosystem. https://www.notebookcheck.net/No-Apple-Watch-for-Android-Apple-blames-technical-limitations-internal-company-emails-disagree.816395.0.html
Apple being apple
Ok, I'll admit it - I got suckered into an Apple Watch ONCE.
Forgetting the HUGE expense and VERY LIMITED functionality of their 2nd generation watch (and dismal battery life) at one point it refused to update and another point my iPhone updated BEYOND what the watch could 'handle' or was compatible with.
Planned OBS for a WATCH!!
I DO still like the wrist strap on it.
Makes no difference, people will still buy Apple.
They'll say there's no issue because everything works for them.
Without realizing that everything works for them only because Apple had suprressed competition for two decades.
