Garmin has released a new update for one of its recent Forerunner smartwatches. As a long-time Garmin fenix/fr user, I know that it doesn't pay to sheepishly update the firmware because each new version comes with a bug that will not be fixed in a few subsequent offerings. Tried and tested.
