Just days after BYD announced its $200,000 electric sports car, Elon Musk chimes that the Tesla Roadster 2 will undergo radical redesign to beat anything else out there. The Roadster 2 will be announced as soon as this year with a 'mind-blowing' demo.

What a load of crap. Tesla couldn't lie straight in bed. They also claim the Plaid S can do 0-60 in 1.9s which it cannot and all their times are measured with a 6mph rolling start. Only cars that can break 0-60 in less than 1s are drag racers with 5000hp+.

There is no way it will even be physically possible on road legal tyres.
