Title: Reforestation is not a panacea: Forests have complex impact on climate and environment

All we need to do is plant enough trees - this is the theory for a simple remedy against climate change. A study with global simulations comes to a different conclusion.

Earth is increasingly green. Evidence is in satellite imagery.

The idea that 200 years ago the earth was greener is incorrect, since old ages humans have been downing forests. Reforestation efforts in large scale are relatively recent.

QuoteOverall, it can be seen that as complexity increases, forecasting also becomes more difficult.

Precisely, even worse because the past also matters for the present climate. How to find all factors and weight them knowing that their weight can change due to subsequent effects.

In an exercise does the same area of cloud cover have the same climate effects if we move it all around the planet?  A concentrated cloud cover geographically, temporarily and or seasonally will affect climate how?
