Garmin's current flagship Forerunner smartwatch has received a new update. Only released to units that have been enrolled on Garmin's Beta Program, the update contains various improvements, including a fix that affected optical heart rate performance in cold weather.

Please keep title honest. There is nothing wrong in adding Beta with Update.

Sadly, the Garmin app and the beta no longer work with Android tablets as of Feb 1st.   Customer service is telling us that we now have to use the cable with a PC to manual since any devices.  They are even freezing Garmin forum discussions on the subject. I purchased a Garmin Instinct on Feb 3rd to fined out that I can't sync it.  This is a terrible experience for Android users.
