Title: HDMI: New certifications make old HDMI app almost obsolete
Post by: Redaktion on February 12, 2024, 00:05:13
The HDMI app will be used much less frequently in future, as the HDMI Licensing Administrator (HDMI LA) is switching to a new system. However, as Club3D notes, there will be a transition phase during which old certification certificates will still be visible.

The HDMI consortium has completely destroyed its reputation by allowing manufacturers to slap 2.1 nameplates on 1.4b and 2.0b ports. They no longer have faith, and editors like NB only contribute to the spread of these lies without checking the facts.
