It is a detail that has thus far flown under the radar, but when it was confirmed that Porsche and Aston Martin will launch cars with next-generation Apple CarPlay onboard, it also marked the first time in nearly 30 years that Apple has licensed one of its operating systems to third-parties.

Strange, in November '23, Porsche announced via press release that they were going to adopt Android Automotive. Where is it announced that Porsche will now use Apple's CarPlay?
