Title: Tesla Cybertruck: Cyber Wheel Covers disappear from production as aero covers turns tyres into tasty treats

While initial speculation online was that the Cybertruck's aero Cyber Wheel Covers were impeding brake rotor cooling, the true culprit has been confirmed to be excessive tyre wear.

Amazingly, no one in the genius bar at Tesla knew that rubber compresses..
and also expands sideways at the same time.
This is an example of styling over function.Naive stuff. However it should be ok driving down to Starbucks or Home Depot. As long as there are no bumps in the road.
I guess when they fix this obvious flaw, they will give themselves a medal.
Well done, engineering and design teams..

Wow, seems like an issue that would have been hard to miss if they drove the truck for any amount of time. Maybe some climates have a more outsized effect on tires.
