One billion people live without electricity and their mobility can't be restricted by only offering them expensive electric cars, says Toyota's CEO. He predicts that EVs will have to share the market with hybrids and even gas-powered cars.

Most 1st-world countries are following Norway's electric car "S-shape" graph, at a slower pace maybe, but the same graph shape nonetheless.

In 2023, Norwegians bought 82% of pure electric cars, 8% of plug-in hybrids, 6% of old hybrids, 4% for the rest.
Everything points towards the fact that most 1st-world countries will follow that trend.
