The Tesla Solar Roof is made up of individual photovoltaic shingles. This makes it aesthetically similar to a conventional roof - in stark contrast to the appearance of conventional solar panels mounted on the roof surface. The first communities are now being built in the US, fully equipped with the solar roof for sustainable power generation.

Still waiting for the solar roof to roll out in Australia! We have this sun and the skilled solar installation workforce but no tiles to install. I've been on the waiting list since they were first announced and there has been zero communication about when or if they will ever be available here.
