Xiaomi has now officially confirmed the Poco X6 series for a January 11 launch event in India. Ahead of that date, however, details of the mid-range Poco X6 have now been outed online, along with an image showcasing the smartphone and its box in the flesh.https://www.notebookcheck.net/Vanilla-Poco-X6-specs-leak-as-mid-ranger-surfaces-in-the-flesh.788521.0.html
It blows my mind how not a single Chinese OEM/vendor seems capable of producing a compact (5.9" - 6.2") phone. Oneplus? Nope. Huawei? No. Xiaomi? Naw. Oppo, Vivo, Realme, Honor? 0.
50 million phones. They're pumping out a new revision of a model by what seems bi-weekly these days. Except it's always 6.67", 6.7" or 6.8". *facepalm*
No, there won't be small phones as they don't sell enough. In a capitalist market it's best for companies to focus on what sells most.
And yes, a chinese manufacturer (Asus) makes a fantastic small phone but that would imo soon be discontinued due to low demand.
Unfortunately my friend, that's how things work.
