With over 30 industrial parks, including production bases in the US, Brazil, Japan, Hungary, and India, Tesla's main competitor BYD is no stranger to branching out globally. It will now open the first big Chinese electric car factory in Europe to take on Tesla there directly.

BYD is growing in many markets in Latin America and is moving into Mexico with the purpose of entering the United States market
