The Cybertruck may not be able to swim in the sea when the seas are "not too choppy" just yet, but it has a cool Wade mode that lets it cross rivers and streams. Tesla has found an ingenious way to seal the battery pack for the purpose.https://www.notebookcheck.net/Tesla-Cybertruck-seals-the-123-kWh-battery-during-river-crossings-using-the-air-suspension-tank.783958.0.html
I don't understand the idea of pressurising the battery as a way to prevent water ingress. The way I understand it, for it to hold enough water to pressurise the battery, it would need to be sealed from the get-go, no?
The battery is sealed ,but just in case there is a small leak, a pressurized battery pack would not allow water ingress. As it has an on board compressor it could maintain that positive pressure for as long as necessary, if there was a small leek.
How big of a swimming suit does this c - truck need too go swimming . Sounds dangerous for the wheel bearingns also . Better check the depth or yu might have too call the coast guard for a tow ..
