With the Tank03, Acemagic offers a very special mini PC in its portfolio that stands out with a huge performance packed into the smallest amount of space. At least, this is what is promised by the technical specifications. Find out in this review, what the Intel Core i9-12900H in combination with the Nvidia GeForce RTX-3080 Laptop GPU can do in practice. As a special feature, the mini PC also offers three different performance profiles that we also examine in detail.https://www.notebookcheck.net/Acemagic-Tank03-gaming-PC-review-Small-mini-PC-with-Intel-Core-i9-12900H-and-Nvidia-GeForce-RTX-3080-GPU-also-masters-current-games.782893.0.html
It has to be added, that Tank03 GPUs are not standard NVIDIA ones, but re-purposed mobile versions. Nothing bad with perf (real NVIDIA chip in my case), but VBIOS might be non-standard, and so official Nvidia drivers may not work. My experience on a 12700h + 3060 12Gb rtx is that, drivers are not certified / signed by Nvidia but provided by Acemagic (Windows) or Frankendrivers (Windows & Linux) who manages to adapt official released drivers to those "frankenstein" cards. Mid term support relies only on this person or Acemagic ability to follow official drivers' updates. I wish I knew it when I made the purchase, as its a significant limitation for the price - even if lower now. Thanks God, it was on Amazon so the think is going back to Acemagic.
