In what might be a mega-leak in terms of next-gen Android smartphones from Asus, the ROG Phone 8 and 8 Pro are officially slated to launch with advanced Bluetooth 5.4 wireless connectivity. Furthermore, the next ZenFone will also have this spec - not to mention its series' first ever Ultra variant. The intriguing development might hint at a significant change in design choices compared to the last few years.

It would have been ideal phone for me if there wasnt for short update period. 2-3 years is maybe good enough for aliexpress brands like Oppo or Xiaomi but bot for premium priced Asus.

If they lose the small size they should call it a completely different phone. It'll be a pass from me if it's any bigger. May as well buy an S24 at that point.
